Questions

How is this different from subtitles?

Subtitles follow what is said, line by line, at the bottom of the picture. Text is for titles, names and notes: you choose the words, where they sit and how long they show.

Which fonts can I use?

Inter, Anton, Archivo Black and Merriweather. Each text can have its own font, colour and size.

Can the text fade in and out?

Yes. Each text fades in and out over 0.3 seconds. To change that, open More options and use Fade in and out.

What happens to my text when I cut the video?

It moves with the video. If you cut a part before the text, the text moves along so it still shows over the same moment.

How do I remove a text?

Choose it in the Text tool and press Remove this text. Ctrl+Z brings it back.
